FAQs
When choosing outfits, I suggest opting for softer, lighter tones and muted shades. Steering clear of ultra-bright colors and bold patterns will help keep the focus on your faces and the emotions you share. The camera loves soft lighter colors, and muted darker tones, paired with elegant neutrals like heather gray, cream, leather brown, and white. This gentle color palette blends beautifully with almost any natural outdoor setting.
Mini sessions are perfect for families of 2 to 7 members, offering a quick and stress-free way to capture beautiful moments without the time commitment of a full session. These shorter sessions are ideal for keeping young children engaged and happy, while still capturing the love and connection within your family. Whether you’re a couple, a growing family, or have multiple kids, mini sessions provide just the right amount of time to get those treasured shots, making them a convenient and affordable option for families of all sizes.
Your family pet is a cherished member of your family, and they’re more than welcome to join in on the fun! Including your furry friend in your session adds a special touch, capturing the love and joy they bring to your lives. Pets are a big part of your family story, and we’d love to help you preserve those moments with them by your side.
To prepare little ones for a photo shoot, start by getting them excited—talk about it as a fun adventure where they get to dress up and play. Bring along their favorite toy or snack for comfort and to keep them engaged. It’s also important to schedule the session around their nap times to ensure they’re well-rested and in a good mood. Choose outfits that are both cute and comfortable so they feel at ease during the shoot. Lastly, let them practice smiling or doing fun poses at home to help them feel more confident in front of the camera.
If weather is an issue, I will be in contact with you as soon as possible.
I know it takes a lot of time to get ready for your photoshoot and it’s the worst to get dressed up and drive out to your session only to have it rain. If the weather looks like it won’t be great, I typically try to make the call at least 12 hours in advance. If the forecast is calling for rain we will move the sessions to out back up date of Sunday Oct. 27th.
