I love small intimate weddings. After having a rather large wedding myself 2 weeks ago, it was nice to have a small less hectic wedding where you really get to see and capture the relationships of everyone involved. Megan and Jeramie’s wedding was just that. I loved how everyone got to really spend time together and enjoy each others company.
We started the day at Tropicana Hotel. Now normally I would say the guys in one room and girls in another but this day was a little different. Jeramie’s b”Best Woman” was actually Yesenia, my second shooter, and Megan’s friend Jeff was her “Man of Honor”. I love anything unique. So his day everyone was everywhere. Just added to all the fun and camaraderie.
They did their First Look outside the hotel, followed by family photos. Being just off the main road, we had quite a bit of traffic driving by honking.
The final leg of our trip that day the Pagoda. They had a beautiful ceremony over looking the river from the top of the Pagoda. I wont lie though, it was unusually cold up there that day.
The one thing about the ceremony that I absolutely loved was in place of a unity candle or sand ceremony. They had Blessing Stone ceremony. Each guest was given a small stone as they arrived. During the ceremony Megan, Jeramie, and the wedding party placed their stones in a glass cylinder. Then as each guest left the ceremony they placed their stones in as a blessing to the couple. The story goes, that the closer to water the stones are the stronger the blessing. So it was very fitting, being so close to the river.
The day wrapped up with everyone dancing and having a wonderful time. I got to spend the day, once again, with two wonderful people on the happiest day of their life.
Congratulations Megan and Jeramie.
